I am often told by patients that they have neglected their dental health due to their lack of having dental insurance. We at Loveable Smiles treat all patients whether they have dental insurance or they do not. Everyone who wants to be healthy can obtain treatment.

“Dental insurance” was never intended to improve anyone’s health. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but this is true. All this benefit actually does, is it provides financial benefits depending on the specific policy. Additionally, there are yearly limits that some cause some people to think that they must delay their treatment over several years time to receive their maximum benefits. Unfortunately, stretching the treatment over such a long time allows the problems to worsen, often significantly, and the discomfort and cost increase as well.

While it is nice if someone has dental benefits, in the long run, it is much more important to obtain the absolute best treatment available in a comprehensive way rather than trying to stretch out treatment over several years to receive more insurance benefit.

What is Optimal Dental Health?

If you’re wondering what in the world Optimal Dental Health is, you have to understand that most people have been only partially taken care of by their dentists. 

You see, in dental school we are taught how to treat a variety of problems people may have with their teeth and gums and smiles, but we are NOT taught why so many people have ongoing problems for their entire lifetime.

Fifth Anniversary Cruise – Follow Us!

In celebration of our Fifth Anniversary of opening Loveable Smiles in Richardson, we are so filled with Gratitude for all of our patients, friends and family who have supported us. We are taking this opportunity to take the trip we have always dreamed of: a trip to The Holy Land!

We are going on a cruise which visits Rome, Athens and Mykenos, Greece, Ephasus, Turkey, Haifa and Jerusalem, Israel, Cyprus, Naples, Italy and then back to Rome. Wow!

Debbie Carroll-Boyce is crowned Ms. Texas Senior America 2011

The 2011 Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant was held on August 13th in Dallas.  The Ms. Senior America pageant will be held October 2-7 in Atlantic City at Harrah’s Hotel. 

Loveable Smiles has been a supporter of the pagaent for many years. Cindy Korenman, V.P. of Marketing at Loveable Smiles, serves on the Board of directors for the Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant.

Cindy strongly believes in the ideals of the pageant: “The goal of our pageant is to empower and enrich the lives of our seniors – and we are re-defining the Senior Woman.  Our pageant re-defines the Senior Woman in the 21st century by drawing attention to their capabilities and achievements.”

Texas Governor Rick Perry summed up the essence of the goals of the Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant in his “2011 Greeting” in the Pageant Book, by stating that “it honors inner beauty by focusing on good works and volunteerism.”
